I am pleased to read that Parliament is reviewing the effectiveness of the Money Advice Service. I do not hold any complaint against the Money Advice Service. What pleases me is that there is a conscious effort to review the effectiveness of a Government directed program and trying to ensure improvements are made. I would like to see the FSA do a complete review of all of its rules and regulations to see if they have met the original objectives and if they are currently effectual. If they are not, they should be repealed. As an IFA in London I have a number of suggestions I would gladly pass on to such a review.rnThe article which inspired this blog entry is http://www.moneymarketing.co.uk/politics/mps-to-grill-mark-hoban-over-money-advice-service/1057210.articlernrnThis information is intended to provide a general review of certain topics and its purpose is to inform but not to recommend or support any specific investment or course of action.
