I was not surprised that so many large employers have been identified by the pensions regulator for not being compliant with their requirement for auto-enrolment. The Government has not promoted independent financial advisors adequately for this enormous endeavour. Had IFAs been promoted I am sure many of these employers would have started group personal pension schemes and be compliant with their requirements.
