The idea of road pricing seems logical to me as it should be able to dissuade very short or unnecessary journeys at peak times and not penalise to the same extent those road users at off peak times. When I drive in the London Boroughs of Ealing and Brent I always notice how poorly the road maintenance is compared with other London Boroughs.
